3. Illumination: Direct intense light should be avoided. Light-sensitive reagents should especially be placed in brown bottles. Different degrees of illumination can influence the stability of reagents and the reaction rate.
4. Ventilation: Adequate ventilation can expel harmful gases, regulate temperature and humidity, and lower the risks of explosion and fire. Poor ventilation can endanger the health of personnel, accelerate the deterioration of reagents and the damage of reagent bottles.
Notes:
1. Glass is a fragile material and caution should be exercised during usage to prevent bottle breakage and reagent leakage.
2. Reagent bottles can only be used for containing and storing reagents and must not be used as heating containers.
3. When reagent bottles are not in use for an extended period, they should be cleaned thoroughly, and a piece of paper should be lined between the bottle mouth and the stopper to prevent them from adhering together after long-term usage.
4. As ground-mouth reagent bottles are resistant to acids but not alkalis, they should not be utilized to hold alkaline solutions or reagents.
