Separatory Funnel is a type of laboratory glassware employed for the separation of immiscible liquids. Commonly fabricated from glass, it possesses a main structure that is conical, spherical, or pear-shaped. At the bottom, it is furnished with a ground glass or plastic stopcock to regulate the outflow of liquids and exhibits excellent sealing and corrosion resistance.

1. Temperature: Utilized at ambient temperature (15 - 30℃), with extreme temperatures to be avoided.
2. Pressure: Applicable in an ambient pressure environment, and pressure shock should be evaded.
3. Humidity: Employed and stored in a dry setting, with excessive humidity to be prevented.
4. Chemical Environment: Resistant to the corrosion of multiple chemical reagents, yet prolonged contact with strongly corrosive substances is necessary to be avoided.
5. Mechanical Conditions: Placed stably, handled delicately, and collision and vibration should be precluded.
6. Illumination: Direct intense light should be evaded, and shading is necessary when required.
7. Vibration: Vibration should be mitigated to ensure the liquid stratification effect.
Precautions:
1. Seal inspection: Ensure a good seal of the Stopcock or Glass Stopper before use to prevent liquid leakage.
2. Appropriate filling: The volume of the liquid poured should not exceed two-thirds of the funnel's capacity to avoid overflow and interference with stratification.
3. Gentle handling: Due to the fragility of glass, handle the funnel delicately to prevent collision and dropping.
4. Timely cleaning: Clean promptly after use to maintain cleanliness. Regularly inspect the flexibility and sealing performance of the Stopcock or Glass Stopper.
