1. The ambient humidity shall not exceed 85%, with no condensed water; the ambient temperature shall range from 5°C to 40°C at room temperature; the air flow shall be ≤ 0.5m/s, and direct strong wind shall be avoided.
2. Ensure that there are no other instruments causing vibration in the vicinity of the slicer.
3. The tabletop or other carriers where the instrument is placed must be stable without vibration and have sufficient load-bearing capacity and hardness to bear the weight of the instrument.
4. Vibration, direct sunlight, and sudden temperature changes shall be avoided.
5. The maximum working altitude can reach 2,000 meters above sea level.
Precautions:
1. The slicer is a precision instrument and can only be operated by staff who have received professional training.
2. Before using the instrument, please check whether it is in good condition; verify whether the power supply is normally connected; and check whether the blade, housing, etc. are in their normal positions.
3. Choose the appropriate blade and slice thickness based on the nature of the sample and the experimental requirements.
4. When operating the slicing knife, safety protective gloves must be worn. When handling fresh tissues or potentially infectious materials, safety goggles must be worn.
5. Before slicing, the chuck must be firmly locked, and the locking handle and adjustment knob must be locked in place; otherwise, the slicing effect will be affected.
6. After using the slicer, the handwheel must be locked for sure, the cutting edge must be covered with a blade guard, and the sample head must be retracted to the lowest position.
7. Cleaning must be conducted after the instrument is powered off, and the handwheel must be locked and the slices removed.
8. During cleaning, prevent dust and liquids from entering the interior of the instrument. Organic solvents (such as alcohol, xylene) or cleaners that are corrosive to metals (such as weak acids) shall not be used.
9. In case of any malfunction during use, contact the manufacturer promptly. Do not disassemble or repair the instrument without authorization.
