Precautions:
1. Before use, check the appearance of the leakage current clamp meter for any damage, such as cracked housing or deformed jaws. If any damage is found, replace it promptly.
2. Ensure the measurement environment is safe. Avoid using it in damp, water or conductive substance environments to prevent an increased risk of electric shock.
3. Make sure the rated voltage range of the leakage current clamp meter matches the voltage level of the circuit being measured.
4. During measurement, avoid touching multiple wires simultaneously, especially those of different phases, to prevent short circuits or electric shock.
5. Place the wire to be measured in the center of the jaws and ensure they are fully closed and tightly clamped to minimize measurement errors.
6. When taking measurements, try to avoid nearby wires with large currents or strong magnetic fields, as they may affect the measurement results. Keep the clamp meter stable when reading the measurement data to avoid shaking or movement that could affect the reading.
7. Regularly wipe the jaw core with an alcohol swab to keep the jaws clean and prevent oil and dust from affecting measurement accuracy.
8. Do not allow foreign objects to be caught between the jaw contacts to avoid damaging the jaw contact surfaces.
9. When not in use, close the jaws to prevent foreign objects from adhering to the jaw contact surfaces.
10. Use the specified type of battery and avoid mixing different types of batteries.
11. If the clamp meter is not used for a long time, remove the battery to prevent battery leakage from damaging the instrument.
12. Store the leakage current clamp meter in a dry, well-ventilated, and dust-free environment to prevent moisture, heat, or mechanical impact.
