The Electronic Total Station, fully known as the electronic total station, is a high-precision measuring instrument integrating optical, mechanical and electronic technologies.

Precautions
1. Avoid direct sunlight, reflections or other environmental interference factors. When measuring in strong light, use a shade or umbrella. When measuring against the light, prefer the prism mode over the non-prism mode.
2. Select the appropriate measurement mode based on your needs.
3. Record data promptly during the measurement process, including point number, horizontal angle, distance, and height difference, etc. Ensure that the storage medium has sufficient space and set up a proper file naming rule for easy search and organization.
4. Keep the lens clean. Use a brush to gently remove dust, then wipe with lens paper or a soft cloth. For the display screen and keyboard, only use a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use organic solvents.
5. Regularly clean the objective lens, eyepiece, and prism. Do not touch them with your hands. Use a clean, soft cloth or a cloth moistened with pure alcohol to wipe them.
6. Store the instrument in a dry, temperature-controlled room to prevent moisture and mold. If not in use for a long time, take it out for ventilation and power it on periodically to remove moisture.
7. Check the battery level before use to ensure the device has sufficient power. Do not remove the battery when the power is on to prevent data loss. Do not continuously charge and discharge to avoid damaging the battery and charger. Use the battery and measurement mode reasonably based on the remaining capacity to avoid power interruption during operation.
8. Regularly calibrate the total station, including axis calibration and compensator calibration, to ensure the instrument is in the best working condition.
