A height and weight measuring scale is a piece of equipment capable of concurrently measuring an individual's height and weight. 1.Stable Placement of the Device: The height and weight scale should be placed on a firm and level surface.It is essential to avoid placing it on carpets,soft cushions,or other uneven surfaces, as this will result in inaccurate measurements.
2.Pre-measurement Preparations
• Measured on an Empty Stomach: For the most accurate results,it is recommended to conduct the measurement in the morning,immediately after waking up,while maintaining an empty stomach and having emptied the bladder.
• Removal of Footwear and Heavy Clothing: During the measurement process,individuals should remove shoes,socks,and heavy outer garments,wearing only lightweight clothing.
• Device Inspection: Before measurement,ensure that the display screen of the device reads zero and that all sensors and mechanical components are operating correctly.
3.Correct Measurement Postures
• Height Measurement
• Stand barefoot with both feet together,keeping the back firmly against the measuring rod.
• Maintain a straight head position,with the eyes looking directly ahead,and the top of the head in contact with the sliding scale.
• Avoid any excessive forward or backward tilting of the head.
• Weight Measurement
• Stand evenly centered on the scale surface with both feet,ensuring the body is in a balanced state.
• Refrain from any body swaying or leaning on external objects.
4.Regular Device Calibration
Over time,the sensors of electronic height and weight scales may experience deviations due to extended use or environmental fluctuations.Regular calibration of the device is necessary to uphold the accuracy of measurements.
