Qualitative filter paper is a specialized paper used for laboratory filtration, made of pure cellulose and featuring larger pores, which is used for sedimentation and solid-liquid phase separation, purification, etc.

Precautions:
1. The choice of filter paper should be determined based on filtration requirements, such as pore size, acid and alkali resistance, etc.
2. Before use, the filter paper needs to be moistened to enhance the filtration effect.
3. It cannot be used for filtering high-temperature liquids or volatile liquids.
4. Reuse is not recommended as it will reduce the filtration efficiency.
5. Do not overly fold the filter paper to avoid causing it to rupture. Meanwhile, place the glass rod for guiding the flow on multiple layers of filter paper and apply force evenly to prevent damage to the filter paper.
6. During suction filtration, 2-3 layers of filter paper need to be stacked to prevent penetration.
