Overview
The Paddle Type Homogenizer is a sterile apparatus specially utilized for laboratory sample processing, which can directly extract bacteria from solid samples. By the pounding and hammering of the paddle board, pressure is produced, inducing oscillation, accelerating the mixing, and thus achieving a homogeneous distribution of microbial components in the solution, and the sample processing can be accomplished.

Precautions:
1. The sample volume should not exceed 1/3 to 1/2 of the capacity of the homogenization bag. Excessive or insufficient sample amounts may adversely affect the homogenization outcome. When the sample quantity is insufficient, an appropriate increase in solvent or diluent is advisable.
2. For volatile samples, it is essential to ensure a tight seal of the homogenization bag. For corrosive samples, a corrosion-resistant homogenization bag should be selected.
3. Choose the homogenization bag of the appropriate material and specification to ensure compatibility with the sample. The homogenization bag is for single use to prevent cross-contamination. The sample should be evenly distributed within the homogenization bag and not concentrated in one corner.
4. Prior to use, inspect whether the power cord, the beating plate, and the homogenization bag placement area are in normal condition. Ensure that the equipment is placed on a stable and level surface.
5. During operation, monitor the status of the homogenization bag to ensure there is no rupture or leakage. In case of any abnormal situation, cease the operation immediately.
6. Promptly clean the beating plate and the homogenization bag placement area after use. Employ a mild detergent to avoid corrosion. Regular disinfection is necessary, especially for the equipment utilized in microbiological detection.
