1. Ensure that the instrument is undamaged in appearance and the battery is fully charged.
2. Keep the probe clean. You can wipe it with an alcohol swab. Do not use corrosive cleaners.
3. Choose a flat area such as the forehead, above the sternum on the chest, or the abdomen for measurement. Avoid areas with broken skin or pigmentation.
4. Press the probe against the skin vertically and steadily to prevent light leakage or movement.
5. Repeat the measurement 2 to 3 times on each area and take the average as the result.
6. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated place free of corrosive gases, away from direct sunlight and high temperature and humidity.
