Precautions:
1. Before use, ensure that the hardness tester has been calibrated.
2. Check if the indenter is clean and undamaged, if the spring is normal, and if the scale is clear. If there are any problems, replace or repair them in time.
3. The surface of the sample should be flat, smooth, and clean, without scratches, bubbles, impurities or other defects.
4. To ensure the reliability of the measurement results, multiple measurement points (usually no less than 3) should be selected on the same sample, and the average value should be taken as the final result.
5. After the indenter is pressed into the sample, the hardness value should be read within 15 seconds.
6. When operating, apply pressure slowly and evenly to avoid excessive force or speed, which may affect the measurement results.
7. During the measurement process, avoid vibration or impact on the instrument to prevent affecting the measurement results.
8. After use, clean the instrument in time, especially the indenter and the measurement platform, to avoid dust and impurities affecting the measurement results.
9. Store the hardness tester in a dry, clean, and non-corrosive gas environment, avoiding direct sunlight or long-term exposure to a humid environment.
10. Regularly calibrate the hardness tester to ensure its measurement accuracy.
